You may use the Morgan Lens with our WITHOUT a topical anesthetic. MorTan, Inc., the manufacturer of the Morgan Lens also suggests that you use LR to irrigate because it is closer to the pH of your own tears which in turn will create more comfort. We also suggest that you start the solution running PRIOR to inserting the Morgan Lens. This forms a layer of solution between the eye and the lens allowing the lens to float on the irrigating solution while the irrigation process takes place.
